TOLEDO CHRONICLE – Celebrate National Senior Center Month – Senior Centers are evolving! As a new generation of older adults looks to redefine retirement, there is a growing focus on wellness, work and volunteerism. This September, Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging invites the community to learn more about its programs and services during National Senior Center Month.

On Wednesday, Sept. 15, Tom Hoskins will be a guest speaker discussing long term planning followed by bingo.

On Monday Sept. 20, enjoy Sundae Monday Ice Cream Social. The months activities will conclude on Thursday, September 23 as we recognize Fall Prevention Day and National Checkers Day.
