July 26

1 a.m.- Rick Willard Schlitter, 54, Vinton, arrested in Dysart by Dysart Police on the charges of harassment 3rd and violation of no contact-protective order. Released at 11:10 on cash bond.

9:45 a.m.- Christian Sidney Apple, 33, Tama, arrested in rural Tama by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police on the charge of violation of no contact-protective order and an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Released July 29 at 12:50 p.m. after serving time.

2:50 p.m.- Cindy Chantele Martinez, 28, Marshalltown, arrested in LeGrand by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant for violation of terms of probation. Released at 6:05 p.m. on surety bond.

6:42 p.m.- Christopher Allen Kinkennon, 23, Toledo, arrested at Pheasant Ridge by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of assault without intent. Released July 27 at 10:30 a.m. on pre-trail release.

6:53 p.m.- Shelby Nichole Betzer, 20, Cedar Rapids, arrested at Pheasant Ridge by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of simple assault. Released July 27 at 10:25 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

July 27

2:05 p.m.- Frank Arthur Alvarado, 49, Savanna , Ill, arrested at Clinton County Jail by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Released July 29 at 2:20 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

3:20 p.m.- David James Steffen, 54, Dysart, arrested in Dysart by Dysart Police on the charges of domestic abuse assault 2nd, burglary 3rd degree and assault during a felony-serious injury.

9:34 p.m.- Eric Ramone Lasley, 35, Ferguson, arrested in rural Tama by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police on an arrest warrant.

July 28

3:10 p.m.- Shaylinn Patrese Pettit, 19, Des Moines, arrested at Polk County Jail by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant for violation of terns of probation.

5:42 p.m.- Kolin William Ferneau, 18, Toledo, arrested in Toledo by Toledo Police on an arrest warrant for failure to appear.Released July 29 at 2 p.m. on surety bond.

9:13 p.m.- Dustin James Hickman, 26, Tama, arrested at Casey’s by Tama Police on the charge of assault with a dangerous weapon. Released July 29 at 7:05 p.m. on pre-trial release.

11:05 p.m.- Dysart Police arrested a 16 year old male juvenile on an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

July 29

12:46 a.m.- Gerald Morgan, 21, Tama, arrested in rural Tama by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police on the charge of interferance with official acts and an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Released at 2:30 p.m. on unsecured bond.

1:30 p.m.- Ryan Jason Papakee, 38, Tama, arrested in Toledo by Toledo Police on the charge of public intoxication-consumption. Released July 30 at 10:15 a.m. on unsecured bond.

3:17 p.m.- Dan Eugene Schwabe, 43, Des Moines, arrested at Tama County Jail by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of violating a no contact-protective order. Released Aug. 7 at 1:20 p.m. on surety bond.

July 30

11 a.m.- Toledo Police arrested a 14 year old male juvenile at Iowa Juvenile Home on the charge of assault PO-jailer-health care.

7:39 p.m.- Dean Eric Keahna Jr., 21, Montour, arrested in rural Tama by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police on an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Released at 9:50 p.m. on surety bond.

10:40 p.m.- Natasha Kay Papakee, 26, Tama, arrested in rural Tama by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police on parole violation. Shipped out Aug. 11 at 8 a.m.

July 31

12:04 a.m.- Toledo Police arrested a 16 year old male juvenile in Toledo on the charge of drunken driving 1st offense.

12:42 a.m.- Kyle David Fowler, 21, Waterloo, arrested at Hwy. 63 and D65 by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of driving while license suspended. Released at 11:25 a.m. after pleading guilty.

4:29 p.m.- Candace Marie Freeman, 40, Tama, arrested in 2400 block D Ave. by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of drunken driving 3rd offense and driving while license revoked.

5:11 p.m.- Issaiah Thomas Roberts, 31, Montour, arrested in 2400 block D Ave. by Tama County Sheriff’s Office on the charge of public intoxication-consumption. Released Aug. 1 at 10:20 a.m. after pleading guilty.

8:36 p.m.- Juan Jose Arreola-Espinoza, 30, Tama, arrested by Tama Police on the charges of fraudulent practices 3rd and driving without a license.
