May 17

8:49 p.m.- Nakeita Nicole Thomas, 28, Newton, arrested at the Meskwaki Casino on a warrant for failure to appear by Toledo Police. Released on a misc. transfer at 12:35 p.m. on May 18.

11:16 p.m.- Denzil Kelly Alley Jr., 51, Gladbrook, arrested in Gladbrook on a charge of domestic abuse assault with injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 18 at 10:25 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

May 18

8:30 p.m.- Garren Edward Davenport, 20, rural Tama, arrested at rural Tama on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 19 at 6:20 p.m. on surety bond.

May 19

Noon- Jesse Daniel Lasley, rural Tama, arrested at an unnoted location on a charge of 4th – 5th degree criminal mischief by Tama Police.

8:09 p.m.- Rogelio Rodriguez-Ortiz, 43, Brooklyn, Iowa, arrested at U.S. Highway 63 and 340th Street on a charge of 3rd degree fraudulent practices by Tama Police.

9:30 p.m.- Patrick Joseph Fee, 46, Ames, arrested at the Meskwaki Casino on a charge of disorderly conduct by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on May 20 at 10:45 a.m. after posting cash bond.

11 p.m.- Jeremy Steven Warno, 35, Lake Elm, Minn., arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and B Avenue on qa charge of disorderly conduct by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 20 at 5:40 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

May 20

12:15 a.m.- Ray Gene Tahahwah Jr., 45, Tama, arrested at the Meskwaki Powwow Grounds on charges of 2nd offense drunken driving, driving while license revoked and a warrant for failure to appear by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on June 11 at 1:15 p.m. after serving time.

8 a.m.- Donald Ray Scott, 23, Independence, arrested at an unnoted location on a charge of attempting to entice away a child by Dysart Police.

4:30 p.m.- David Frank Cejka, rural Winfield,iowa, arrested in Waterloo, on charges of child endangerment, assault without intent, simple domestic abuse assault and two warrants by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 21 at 11:55 a.m. on surety bond.

8:57 p.m.- Twyla Roxanne Kapayou, 22, rural Tama, arrested at the Polk County jail on charges of 3rd degree sexual abuse, providing alcohol to a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Placed on pre-trial release on May 27 at 11:25 a.m.

Benjamin David Bear, 53, rural Tama, arrested at rural Tama on charges of lacivious acts with a child, indecent contact with a child and on warrant by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on June 3 at 6:50 p.m. on surety bond.

May 21

8 a.m.- Fabian Andrew Tavizon, 21, Tama, arrested in Tama on two counts of 3rd degree burglary and two counts of 1st degree criminal mischief by Tama Police. Released at 3:25 p.m. after posting bond.

8 a.m.- Karl Scott Koch, 19, addresses of Waterloo and Cedar Falls, arrested on two counts of 3rd degree burglary and two counts of 1st degree criminal mischief by Tama Police. Released on May 23 at 4:20 p.m. on surety bond.

8 a.M.- Julian Saavedra Jr., 21, Tama, arrested on two counts of 3rd degree burglary, two counts of 1st degree criminal mischief and two charges of providing alcohol to a minor by Tama Police. Released on May 22 at 9:20 a.m. after posting cash bond.
