May 15

2:04 a.m.- Brandy Ilene Johnson, 21, rural Tama, arrested in Tama on a charge of driving while license suspended by Toledo Police. Released at 11:40 a.m. after pleading guilty.

2:10 a.m.- 16-year-old female arrested in Tama on charges of public intoxication and possession of alcohol under legal age by Tama Police.

2:24 a.m.- Marvin A. Stochl Jr., 31, rural Tama, arrested at County Roads G Avenue and E49 on a charge of 1st offense drunken by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 3:50 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

10 a.m.- 14-year-old male arrested in Toledo on two counts of assault on a jailer – health care worker by Toledo Police.

3:33 p.m.- Herman John Sartore, 40, Marshalltown, arrested in Toledo on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving by Toledo Police. Released on May 16 at 11:05 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Mark Elwood Oelmann, 49, Gladbrook, arrested in the 1700 block of C Avenue on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a premise, vehicle or dwelling, possession f a controlled substance and driving while license suspended by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 15 at 10:30 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

May 16

5:27 a.m.- 17-year-old male arrested at the Meskwaki Casino on charges of assault of a police officer – jailer -health care worker and public intoxication by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

4:24 p.m. Herbert Samuel Elliott, 41 LeGrand, arrested on Tama County Road E27 near B Avenue on charges of unlawful possession of a prescription drug and driving while license suspended by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on May 18 at 8:25 p.m. after posting cash bond.

5:10 p.m.- Derek Warren Poweshiek, 52, rural Montour, arrested in Tama on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving by Tama Police. Released on June 4 at 1 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

5:53 p.m.- James Conrad Werning, 61, Tama, arrested in Tama on charges of criminal trespassing and interference with official acts by Tama Police. Released on May 17 at 3:45 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

8:43 p.m.- Melissa Ann Moyer, 31, Dysart, arrested in the 1400 block of Tama County Road V37 on two counts of driving while license revoked and one charge of driving while license suspended by Dysart Police.
