Welcome Back! The library is now open its regular hours of Monday thru Thursday from 10-6 pm, Friday from 10-5 pm and on Saturday from 9-Noon. We are still offering Curbside service for those that wish to use it.

Summer is officially here and with that is our Summer Reading Programs. We are offering “Book BINGO” for the adults and “Read for the Bead,” a read at your own pace program for the kids. And if the kids really want to be challenged they can participate in our “A-Z Challenge.”

Beginning July 6th, library programs will be held for grades 1st-8th. Join Brandi for Make-It-Mondays or Weird Science Wednesdays at 10:30 am or 1:00 pm. Due to social distancing requirements these programs will be limited to 8 people each session and registration will be required. Story Hour with Mary will be Fridays beginning July 10th at 10:30 am. Join us for a story and crafts. Also on Friday afternoons the library will be having a movie at 1:00 pm. Popcorn and snack will be served. Call the library for more information at 641-484-3362.

New fiction to the shelves soon will be: The Lost and Found Bookshop by Susan Wiggs; The Black Swan of Paris by Karen Robards; Daddy’s Girls by Danielle Steel; Half Moon Bay by Jonathan Kellerman; Deadly Touch by Heather Graham; A Walk Along the Beach by Debbie Macomber; and many more.

New movies to the library are: Blended; The Boss Baby; Charlie’s Angels; Dolittle; Little Women and Nobody’s Fool.
