Ross Street Roasting,Sound Doctor Mobile DJ join Patners in Education

Brian Gumm, Ross Street Roasting owner, (center, left) and Joe Tafta, “Sound Doctor Mobile DJ” were recognized recently at a South Tama School Board meeting for joining the Partners in Education Program. Presenting the businessmen with a recognition award were Kris Collins (left) assistant STC Elementary principal and Vanessa Rivera (right), elementary school at-risk liaison. The purpose of the STC Partners in Education (STC PIE) program is to enhance the educational experiences for all of our students, and to keep the community informed of and engaged in the development of our young people. Businesses and organization can become official Partners in Education by expressing interest to the school or district administration, and completing a simple partnership commitment form.
