Pumpkins carved by local business people and organizations were on display in the Tama City Council Chambers during the T-T?Area Chamber of Commerce Trick or Treat Trail on Friday night, Oct. 23. The public voted and the City of Tama’s pumpkin (4th from left in back) won first place with the Toledo Public library placing second and the Chamber’s own entry in third place. Tama’s pumpkin was put on display in front of the Civic Center and soon was smashed – not the first to happen in the Halloween season.
