Micki Ferris

John Kavalier, President, State Bank of Toledo announced that Michele (Micki) Ferris has been promoted to Vice President and Compliance Officer. “Micki has been with the bank for over 34 years, and is an experienced member of our team who has provided valuable service over the years,” said Kavalier. “Our Board of Directors recognizes Micki’s contribution to the bank and provides this promotion in appreciation of that contribution,” he added.

Micki began her employment at State Bank of Toledo May 7, 1979, serving in the bookkeeping department. She has also served as a teller, customer service representative, and currently is responsible for managing regulatory compliance for the bank, as well as loan administration, and bank policy auditing. She has a degree in Business Management from Buena Vista University and has taken numerous banking courses offered by the banking industry. She previously served as a board member and as Chairman of the American Institute of Banking, Marshalltown Chapter. She and her husband, Dan Ferris, live in Toledo.

“Bank regulators continue to place a greater emphasis on compliance with banking rules and regulations and Micki continues to do an outstanding job managing our compliance department,” stated Kavalier.
