Iowa Valley – T-T Chamber offer Leadership Program

A second Tama County Leadership Program will be offered beginning in September in Tama County. Nine sessions will be held, one each month through May, 2013.

The program invites participants to join with both new and seasoned leaders in Tama County to enhance their ability to lead while Increasing your knowledge and understanding of county-wide issues.

The goals are:

Unite emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

Increase participants’ knowledge and understanding of community issues.

Broaden a collective vision of a better county-wide community.

The sessions include – –

-Sept. 13, Connecting with Social Media

-Oct. 11, Your Work Personality

-Nov. 8, Building a Team

– Dec. 13, Conflict Management

-Jan. 10, Visioning

-Feb. 14. Time Management

March 14, Financial Responsibility

April 11, Population of Tama County

May 9, Local Government

Fees

Tuition for the Tama County Leadership is $99 per participant. This includes 9 sessions, on-line resources, all materials and a light breakfast at each session. You can register for each session separately for $25 per session.

The Tama County Leadership Steering Committee includes Brian Oliver, Stephen Kenkel, Brian Sokol, Sandy Supianoski, Tom Dowling, Laura Schinnow, Mandy Brown, Yvonne Mallory and Ashley Bolen.
