Seven things to know from Monday’s Tama city council meeting

Arian Sprague was approved to become a driver for Tama EMS.

The following resolutions were approved for lead water line replacements to residences: Resolution 22-33: 706 E 5th St., Resolution 22-34: 309 W 11th St., Resolution 22-35: 705 Harding St., Resolution 22-36: concrete work 1311 McClellen St. & 210 W 11th St. and Resolution 22-37: 600 Garfield.

Council approved Resolution 22-38: TIF Indebtedness for downtown Tama.

Council approved Resolution 22-39: TIF Indebtedness for Iowa Premium Beef Renewal Area plant expansion.

The Council approved the Board of Adjustments meeting decision on 10-18-22 for the expansion of a property on State St.

The Council approved the appointment of Mike Haughey to the Board of Adjustments.

Resolution 22-40: Lincoln Highway Bridge contract was approved and signed. The project will be funded by an Iowa DOT grant. Construction of the bridge will not begin till Spring of 2023.
