Resolution 09-12-2022A was approved by the board. This resolution is to establish a speed limit of 35 mph on P Ave., commencing at the Traer Corporate Limits and proceeding north to Black Hawk County Line. Due to the current closure of US 63 from Traer to Hudson causing increased traffic on P Ave. The speed limit will be effective immediately and will terminate upon the reopening of US 63 from Traer to Hudson.

The Board signed the Health Partner Agreement for medical, dental, and health service networks for county employees as agreed upon in previous meetings.

The 1st and 2nd tier canvases were approved for the Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District and Benton Community School District Special Election on September 13th. The 1st tier canvas will take place on Monday, September 19th at 8:00 am. The 2nd tier canvas will take place on Monday, September 26th at 8:00 am.

The Board approved the appointment of Attorney Carlton Salmons to represent Tama Co. in the Heather Kneble lawsuit.
