Arwen Turner (5th)

Arwen Turner is 11 years old and in 5th grade. Arwen has a mom named Tiara, a step-dad named Frank, and a dad named Scott. She also has an older sister named Bailey, a younger brother named Evan, and a cat named Thrall. Her hobby is drawing. She describes herself as nice. The advice she gives to her classmates is to be nice.

Edgar Hernandez (5th)

Edgar Hernandez was student of the month in December. He is 10 years old and in 5th grade. He has five siblings and his mother and father. Their names are Gerardo, Jorge, Miguel, Diana, Jennifer, and Margarita. Edgar’s hobbies are playing video games. Edgar’s three best characteristics are that he is smart, funny and takes lots of things serious. His advice for his class is to not be loud.

Missy Smith (6th)

I sat down with December student of the month 6th grader Missy Smith and had a interview with her. She lives with Jan Smith and her dog Snuggles. She likes basketball, volleyball, and dance. She describes herself as social, friendly, tall and intellectual. She said, “Don’t do drugs and respect your teachers.” That was my interview with Missy Smith.

Clayton Graff (6th)

Clayton Graff is 12 and in 6th grade. His family members are Bryan, Steph, Cale, Amelia, and Addilyn. His pets are Trevor, Zoey, and Skylaa. His hobbies are hunting, archery, and riding ATV’s. He describes himself as nice. His best characteristics are that he is responsible and caring. His advice for his classmates is to never give up.

Nijaha Billingslea (7th)

Nijah Billingslea is 13 and in 7th grade. Along with her mom and dad, she has two sisters, Mikaila and Ryenn. She also has two fish named Pinky Pie and Jackson. She loves to read and watch TV. She also loves playing sports. She would describe herself as a very nice and caring person. Her three best characteristics are that she is weird, nice, and smart. She says the key to success is to be yourself and worry about yourself because you will always be there for yourself.

Eli Keahna (7th)

Eli Keahna is a 12-year old boy in 7th grade. He has two parents, three siblings, and seven pets. His parents are named Verlyn and Marsha Keahna. His three siblings are named Tieranny, Keith, and Curtis Keahna. He has seven pets but doesn’t have names for them. His only hobby is playing video games. He described himself as tall. His advice for his classmates is to do your homework.

Jesus Chavez (8th)

Jesus Chavez is 14 years old and he’s in 8th grade . He says his favorite hobbies or activity are playing sports. He also likes to be respectful. He describes himself as funny and nice. He says his advice to his classmates are, “Don’t get in trouble.” He has two parents, one brother, and a dog.

Kara McCollister (8th)

Kara McCollister is a 14-year old in 8th grade. Her family includes her mom, Heather, her dad, Mat, two sisters named Elenna, and Kailiee, and two brothers named Jaekob, and Jayce. Her hobby is dancing and she would describe herself as funny and nice. She says her three best characteristics include being friendly, funny, and nice. Her advice for her fellow classmates is, “Don’t make your teachers mad and everything will be ok.”
