Casey Waite was recently promoted to Lt. Colonel by the United States Air Force.

On hand for the ceremony was his wife, Tanya, and their two children, Hudson and Conner, and his parents Mary Jane and Dan Waite of State Center.

Currently Waite is serving in the Washington D. C. area with 14 years of service.

He is the grandson of Bill and Rose Waite of Marshalltown, formerly of Toledo, and June Casey, Tama.
