TAMA NEWS-HERALD – Jenna Meyer, age 5, the daughter of Kristi and Jeremy Meyer of Tama recently donated 10″ of her hair to the Locks of Love program.

Betsy Sawyer cut Jenna’s hair for the donation and gave her a new short hairdo at her salon, Betsy on Broadway in Toledo.

Jenna’s grandmother, Glenda Strand passed away in 2009 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Jenna remembers her grandma losing her hair during her cancer treatments and and understands that her donated hair will be used to make wigs for children who have lost their hair as part of their treatments.
