Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Thursday, March 2

Jason Michael Howell, 48, of Gladbrook, was arrested by Tama Co. Sheriff’s Dept. in Gladbrook. He was charged with driving under suspension and driving while license suspended. Howell pled guilty and was released the same day.

Friday, March 3

Elmer Abel Maldonado, 32, of Toledo, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. He was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and was released the same day.

Hale K. Adigo, 64, of Toledo, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. She was charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury.

Justina Hale Davis, 44, of Tama, was arrested by Tama Police Dept. She was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor. Davis was released the next day on promise to appear.

Elora Adriana Contreras, 26, of Toledo, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. on a warrant for failure to appear.

Saturday, March 4

Patrick John Kearney, 58, of Toledo, was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance–third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to provide proof of financial liability. Kearney was released the same day on his own recognizance.

Brad Alan Blocker, 58, of Toledo, was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. He was charged with domestic abuse assault–first degree. Blocker was released the same day on his own recognizance.

Verenicia Sanchez, 40, of Tama, was arrested by Tama Police Dept. on a warrant for failure to appear. She was charged with violating a domestic no contact order. Sanchez was released on cash bond the next day.

Sunday, March 5

Richard Baldenegro Martinez, 53, of Marshalltown, was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police in Tama. He was charged with driving under suspension. Martinez pled guilty and was released the same day.

Scott Christopher Kirk, 38, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police in Toledo. He was charged with first-offense OWI and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Kirk was released the same day on promise to appear.

Monday, March 6

Jovian Vernon Jefferson, 33, of Montour, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. and charged with third offense OWI, driver’s license denied or revoked-OWI, and public intoxication.

Lorilynn Ravae Papakee, 27, of Fort Dodge, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. on an out of county/state warrant.

Brian Michael Leovan, 37, of Des Moines, was arrested by Tama County Sherrif’s Dept. in Toledo and charged with violation of probation. He was released the next day on surety bond.

Jeri Dean Kibbee, 63, of New Sharon, was arrested by Meskawki Tribal Police in Tama on a warrant and was charged with leaving the scene of an injury or accident. Kibbee was released the next day on his own recognizance.

Heather Sue Armstrong, 47, of Tama, was arrested by Tama Police Dept. and charged with registration violation and driver’s license denied/revoked-OWI. Armstrong was released the next day on her own recognizance.

Tuesday, March 7

Jamie Jason Gage, 50, of Waterloo, was arrested on a warrant by Tama Co. Sherrif’s Dept. in Dysart. Gage was charged with two counts of sex offender registry-other offense and one count of child endangerment causing bodily injury.

Wednesday, March 8

Jorge Omar Martinez-Maciel, 45, of Marshalltown, was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police on four warrants and charged with two counts of first-offense OWI.

Patrick John Kearney, 58, of Toledo, was arrested by Toledo Police Dept. and charged with three counts of violation of probation.

Joseph Vaughn Burke, 40, of Clutier, was arrested by Tama Co. Sherrif’s Dept. in Clutier and charged with violation of a domestic no contact order. Burke was released the next day on promise to appear.
