Arrest Report – Tama County Jail

Oct. 8

Anthony James Reitinger, Jr, 29, Tama was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for violation of probation.

Matthew Christopher Krotz, 36, Cedar Rapids was arrested by Tama Sheriff’s Department for domestic assault-bodily injury. Krotz was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 9.

Colton John Kroeger, 21, Toledo was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for drug trafficking, controlled substance schedule IV/V, driving while barred, and failure to dim headlights.

Bostyn Richard Doyle, 18, Tama was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for controlled substance schedule IV/V and drug trafficking. Doyle was released on a pre-trial release on Oct. 9.

Oct. 9

Melissa Sue Bane, 39, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department on warrants for keeping a vehicle or premise for controlled substance and contributing to delinquency of a minor-cause to act. Bane was released on surety bond on Oct.9.

Justin Dean Prince, 37, Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police Department for assault w/bodily injury.

Oct. 10

Marian Lisa Roberts, 53, Tama was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for contempt-violation of no contact order and public intoxication. Roberts was released on unsecured bond on Oct. 10.

Ezra Oliver Seymour, 20, Tama was arrested by Meskwaki Police Department for OWI-1st offense. Seymour was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 10.

Ndatabaye Claude, 30, Urbandale was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failure to appear. Claude was released on transfer on Oct. 11.

Vicente Munoz, 50, Toledo was arrested by Tama Police Department for public intoxication and assault with bodily injury. Munoz was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 10.

Daevon Andreas Morgan, 28, Tama was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department for OWI-2nd offense and driving under suspension. Morgan was released on surety bond on Oct. 12.

Angela Kay Stoneman, 42, Waterloo was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for possession of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance-marijuana. Stoneman was released on her own recognizance on Oct. 11.

Jeffery Mark Guyer, 42, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department on a warrant. Guyer was released on Oct.11.

Zachariah Dean Edwards, 38, Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police Department for OWI-1st offense, fraudulent use of registration, provide proof of financial liability, driving under suspension, and operating a non-registered vehicle. Edwards was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 11.

Dawson Kyle Davenport, 41, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department for public intoxication. Davenport was released after pleading guilty on Oct. 12.

Felisha Ruby Kapayou, 29, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department for public intoxication. Kapayou was released after pleading guilty on Oct. 12.

Brandon James Pippert, 28, Lincoln was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department for provide proof of financial liability, operating a non-registered vehicle, fraudulent use of registration, and driving under suspension. James was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 11.

Kristen Lynn Arp, 55, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department on a warrant for domestic assault-bodily injury. Arp was released on her own recognizance on Oct. 12.

William Mitchell Jones, 41, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department on a warrant for domestic assault-bodily injury. Jones was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 12.

Kaleb Michael Sadler, 25, was arrested by Toledo Police Department for domestic abuse assault-1st. Sadler was released on Oct. 12.

Oct. 12

Colton John Kroeger, 21, Toledo was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for two counts of violation of probation.

Oct. 13

Dawn Dorothy Young, 43, Marshalltown was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police on a warrant for violation of probation.

Court News

Winona Sue Bitterlie, 48, of Walford entered a written plea of not guilty during an arraignment hearing on Oct. 13. Bitterlie is being charged with possession of a dangerous weapon while under the influence as a result of an incident in Toledo on Sept. 13. During the incident, Bitterlie allegedly was intoxicated and leaning against her truck which contained a loaded 9mm handgun. Trial has been set for Nov. 29, 2021.

Luis Felipe Ordaz Ochoa, 27, of Marshalltown entered a written plea of not guilty during an arraignment hearing on Oct. 16. Ordaz Ochoa is being charged with driving while barred and eluding law enforcement at speeds over 25 mph of the limit during an incident which occured in Tama on Sept. 17, 2021. Ordaz Ochoa allegedly led law enforcement on a pursuit down E 5th Street in Tama, reaching speeds over 70 mph while in a 30 mph zone. Ordaz Ochoa was released on bond on Sept. 21 but had the bond revoked after he was arrested again in early October on charges of trespassing and violation of a no contact order. A trial date has not been set.

Erica Lynn Velez, 30, of Tama entered a written plea of not guilty during an arraignment hearing on Oct. 11. Velez is charged with three felony counts including going armed with intent, assault while participating in a felony and intimidation with a dangerous weapon as a result of an incident in Tama Sept. 11, 2021. During a dispute over a noise complaint, Velez allegedly pointed a handgun at a female victim and threatened them. A trial is set for Nov. 29, 2021.

Dawson Kyle Davenport, 41, of Tama was sentenced in district court on Oct. 15. Davenport pled guilty to a charge of domestic abuse assault which occurred during an incident in Tama County on July 2, 2021. Davenport received a sentence of two years in the custody of the Iowa Department of Corrections. However, the sentence was suspended and Davenport instead will serve one year of supervised probation and be required to pay a $855 fine.
