South Tama Trojans take 2nd at home tournament

The South Tama Trojans hosted a volleyball tournament on Saturday, September 23. Also at the tournament were Grinnell, Belle Plaine, East Marshall, North Fayette Valley and BGM.
The Trojans finished second in the tournament defeating Grinnell 2-0 (21-18, 21-17), East Marshall 2-0 (21-17, 21-17), North Fayette Valley 2-1 (21-11, 20-22 and 15-11), and BGM 2-0 (21-13, 21-7). The Trojans fell to just Belle Plaine 2-0.
The Trojans have already posted their most wins in a season since 2013 with a record of 8-9.
STC travelled to Independence on Tuesday, September 26. The Class 4A Mustangs who are ranked 9th got the win in 3 sets (25-20, 25-9 and 25-13).
The Trojans will travel to Charles City for a tournament on Saturday, September 30.
