Bradley, Honeycutt to have rematch

Paul Bradley

Paul “The Gentleman” Bradley and Chris Honeycutt will have a chance at a rematch on Friday, January 29 as part of the Bellator 148 event. Bradley, originally from Tama, Iowa, and Honeycutt first met on July 17 as part of the Bellator 140 event. The match came to an early conclusion and was ruled a no contest midway through the second round after an accidental head butt left Bradley with a sizable gash on his forehead.

Since 2013, Bradley is 2-1 with Bellator with wins over Josh Neer and Karl Amoussou. He was a two-time All-American wrestler at the University of Iowa and holds a 22-6-2 mixed martial arts record. Honeycutt, 27, is undefeated in his first six professional MMA appearances.

The match will take place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and will be aired on Spike TV. The Bradley vs. Honeycutt fight is one of five undercard matches leading up to the main event fight between Josh Koscheck (17-10) and Matt Secor (7-2).
