Dousing class scheduled

August 18, 2013
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

MARSHALLTOWN - Iowa Valley Continuing Education is offering a unique look into the ancient practice of dousing. Visit a cemetery and find unmarked graves. Steve Meyer, President of the Pioneer Cemetery Association, will show you how it is done. Steve's dousing abilities have been called on several times to find and mark graves in pioneer cemeteries. See if you have the talent to douse.

Tuesday, August 20, we will meet in the parking lot of the King Tower, 1701 E. 5th Street in Tama at 6 pm. Then we will travel to a cemetery to practice dousing. The charge for this class is $17. Please note that the rain date for the class is Thursday, August 22 with the meeting being at the same time and place.

To register, call IVCE at 641-752-4645 or 800-284-4823 or go to www.IowaValley.com.
