"I strive to keep active in the community and this gives me the opportunity to do so," says Paula Rohach of her new position.
She began duties as the marketing director for Carrington Place of Toledo on June 20. In this role she will be responsible for public and community relations for the 75-resident nursing and skilled care facility and adjoining 17 independent living apartments which make up the Village.
Rohach will make professional visits to area health care providers to keep them and their clients informed of the services available at Carrington Place. She will also be available to welcome the public to stop by for tours of the facilities at any time including to view the newly renovated, private deluxe suites for short-term stay residents.
The mission statement for the facility includes "Carrington Place takes pride in our commitment to care and our experienced nursing staff is able to provide individualized care. We pride ourselves on our consistent staffing program that enables our staff to get to know the resident's holistic well-being. Our specialties include: post surgical, knee/hip replacements, strokes, CHF, pneumonia, IV therapy, bariatric, and wound/skin care."
Rohach says she looks forward to returning to her marketing and branding career.
She most recently worked for Thys Chevrolet, Toledo, in sales and marketing and previously was employed in both marketing and branding, public relations and advertising for Barmuda, headquartered in Cedar Falls and the Henry Russell Bruce Advertising Agency in Cedar Rapids.
A native of Vining and the daughter of Paul and Luree Riha, Paula and her husband, Larry, live in Toledo. They have two daughters, Alexa and Jade.
Paula attended the American Institute of Commerce in Davenport.
