Career Development staff, participants reflect

July 8, 2013
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Letter to the Editor:

The staff and participants of the Tama Career Development Center wish to take this opportunity to thank the community for their support of our participants and ongoing programs during the duration of the Iowa Valley Community College District operations of this program. The doors will be closed on June 28 as an Iowa Valley program and reopen July 1 under CIRSI leadership.

We have been repeatedly grateful for the invitations for inclusion in the community and volunteer opportunities. This community has shown great respect and acceptance of our participants. Every donation of materials and supplies has been appreciated as we recycled and reused in ways we hope benefitted various agencies and organizations.

We have experienced the best a small community has to offer. You have cared and supported us in many ways and it has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

We are fortunate to have continued services for adults with disabilities in this community under CIRSI leadership and are certain this community will continue to support their very important efforts in the future. You can continue to call CIRSI at 641-484-5552.

Thank you,

Teresa Vodochodsky,

Missy Massengale,

Berleen Wobeter
