TRAER- Max Lynn Morrison, 64, died Monday, Jan. 6, from complications from injuries sufffered on Nov. 28 in a plane crash at rural Clutier. Funeral services are Friday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Traer United Methodist Church. Burial is at Buckingham Cemetery.
A 1967 graduate of Traer High School and a U.S. Marien Corps veteran of the Viet Nam War, Morrison retured from John Deere, Waterloo, in June, 2011.
He is survived by his wife Sue, two sons Brian (Beth) Morrison and Mike (Shellie) Morrison all of Traer, six grandchildren Katie, Scott, Tyler, Chase, Larissa and Jessica, four brothers, Jerald (June) Morrison of Oskaloosa, Leland (Deborah) Morrison of Evansdale, and Carl (Connie) Morrison of Vinton and Kevan Morrison of Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Daniel.
