Wayne E. Judge Sr., 80, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Iowa River Hospice.

Funeral services for Wayne will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be at the Garwin Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2015. Wayne Judge was born on January 10, 1935 in the Garwin area to Harold and Martha Judge. Wayne served his country honorably in the United States Army stationed in Korea. Wayne worked at a variety of professions over the years including farming, operating a tv and radio shop in LeGrand and as the owner of Wayne Judge Construction. On August 12, 1995, Wayne was united in marriage to Wanda Rager. Wayne was a member of the Mid Iowa Antique Power Association, he enjoyed restoring antique engines, hunting, he loved the Chicago Cubs and most importantly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Vicki (David) Pendell, Wayne E. (Julie) Judge Jr., Ann Judge, Michael (Lauri) Judge, Melinda (Dan) Burton and John (Cari) Judge. Grandchildren: Tommy Taylor, Jacob Judge, Jasmine Judge, Adam Buhr, Nicholas Burton, Rachel Burton, Nathan Judge, & Isaac Judge. Wayne is also survived by his sister Beverly of New Smyrna Beach, Fla. and brother Lee of Garwin Iowa.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Wanda in 2014, his parents, Harold and Martha and brother, Dallas.
