Molly B. McNall

Molly B. McNall, 97, of Tama, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, at Villa Del Sol in Marshalltown. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Brian Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, from 6-8 p.m. at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama.

Molly was born on November 20, 1917, in Tama. Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Jennie (Gable) Mills.

She graduated from Tama High School.

She married William McNeal and they later divorced. On Oct. 18, 1948, she married Charles “Jack” McNall. They operated Jack’s Beef Burger for several years. She was also employed at Central Telephone, Mercy Hospital in Marshalltown and Dr. Norman McCreary until retiring. Molly was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church in Tama. She was a past President of American Legion and V.F.W. Auxiliaries and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. In 1966, Lottie Plucar and she organized the Avenue of Flags.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly McNeal Spinks of Tama and Sherry (Rogor) McNeal Shuler of Melbourne; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack McNall in 1963; two brothers; four sisters; and two grandsons.

A memorial fund has been established.
