On Friday, Nov. 4, students and faculty of the Meskwaki Settlement School celebrated Neno Day with a morning presentation, activities, and ending with a mini powwow in their high school gym.

Red Earth and Coon Hunters drum circles performed at the powwow with kids in regalia or street clothes and enjoyed performing their favorite dances, such as the Meskwaki Dance and the ever-favorite Buffalo Dance.
