Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival begins tomorrow

Please join us for the Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival parade on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 am! Parade line-up will begin at 9:30 am.

We are inviting you and your business or organization to participate! The route will be slightly different for this year because we want to take the opportunity to include the Lincoln Highway Bridge on our journey! Parade line up will start at Tama Livestock Auction and continue along 5th Street to downtown Tama. The parade will end by Tama Eagles. Parade watchers will be encouraged to enjoy the parade from downtown Tama, as usual. South Tama High School and Middle School bands and other walkers plan to follow a shorter route and will slip in between vehicle entries closer to downtown Tama. (Please allow those folks to slide in when they indicate they want to).

Although we will not stop the parade for photos on the historic Lincoln Highway Bridge, you are welcome to have someone taking pictures as your parade entry crosses the bridge.

If you do not plan to participate in the parade, but would like to help with the parade management, please contact Doug Ray at jdray32@yahoo.com.

We look forward to seeing you and your families at the Lincoln Highway Bridge Festival! For a complete schedule of weekend events, please go to www.lincolnhighwaybridgefestival.weebly.com.
