Three local churches have teamed up to provide a new fellowship and worship opportunity for community members. Christ United Methodist in Toledo and Living Faith United Methodist in Tama and Montour have begun a program entitled W.O.W Worship on Wednesdays.

W.O.W. held a kick off celebration on September 8th with a hot dog feed, outdoor games and a short worship service. The new block party trailer that is available though the City of Tama was utilized for the event. It was a wonderful evening of food, fun and fellowship.

Each Wednesday, W.O.W will take place at Living Faith United Methodist Church at 309 E 11th St. in Tama. The program will begin each Wednesday at 5:30 PM with a light meal, followed by Christian Ed classes for ages 4 through adult at 6:00 PM, and then a short contemporary service for all from 7:00 to 7:30.

By beginning this program on Wednesday nights, the churches hope to provide an additional opportunity to community members who may be unable to attend traditional church services on Sunday mornings. All are welcome to join each Wednesday.
