Frank Albertson of rural Toledo was honored by the Tama County Fair Board as one of the 2021 Friends of the Fair. The award was developed as a way to recognize and thank members of the community who have made significant contributions to the Tama County Fair. Pictured during the Opening Ceremony of the fair on July 13 are Fair Board Director Nathan Upah, Albertson and Fair Board President Marla Clark-Hlas. The 2020 award recipients were also recognized during the ceremony as the fair was not able to be held last year. Stan and Charlotte Upah and their family businesses U.S.S. Polaris and Upah Income Tax and Bookkeeping were given the award for 2020.
