Tama County Republicans are set to host a Meet the Candidates event on October 10, from 4-6PM at the Tama-Toledo Country Club located at 806 W 13 St Tama.  The public is welcome to attend.

The theme of the event will be to “Honor Local Heroes” and will feature a tribute to local law enforcement, fire departments, and EMTs.

Attendees are encouraged to wear patriotic gear, enjoy refreshments,  purchase merchandise, participate in drawings and enter for door-prizes. 

Candidates invited to attend include all of the Republican state and local candidates on the ballot for Tama County voters on Nov. 3 as well as U.S. Sen. Ernst, Gov. Reynolds, and Lt. Gov. Gregg.

This informal event will give constituents a chance to mingle with candidates, and show their appreciation for local heroes.
