Tama, Montour, Tama County city races results

-Unofficial results- The Tama County Board of Supervisors will canvas the Nov. 5 election on Nov. 12 beginning at 8 a.m.

TAMA

Doug Ray easily captured the Tama Mayor’s post by a 308-24 vote margin over John Anderson in the Tuesday city election. Ray will replace Mayor Mike Carnahan who did not seek reelection.

Tama will have two new faces on the city council in January. In an eight-way race for three seats, incumbent Aaron Haughey polled 185 votes with Larry Thomas with 183 votes followed by Anne Michael at 182 votes to complete the field. The other candidates and their vote totals are: incumbents Kenny McAdoo 175 and Robert Tyynismaa 146, and other candidates Jeff Large 76, Matthew Beatty 68 and Randy Fairchild 23.

TOLEDO

Brian Sokol, unopposed for mayor – 234, Jeremy Cremeans – 210, Joe Boll, 201 for two at-large council seats.

MONTOUR

Benjamin J. Little- 74- unopposed for mayor.

2 council seats for four year terms-Jeff Hermanstorfer- 32 and Charles Bidwell- 30 were elected. Other candidates- Vicky Garske-25, Alan Kelly- 21, Susan Eberhart- 18, Dustin C. Wright- 15, Regina Johns- 9.

ELBERON-

Mayor- Robert Kesl Sr. -33, Linn Snell- 8

GARWN

City council- Mtthew Deam-72, Darcy MCubbin-68 – elected. Other candidates- Shannon Scheidel- 63, Lorri Waite- 56.

GLADBROOK

Mayor- Keith Sash 88, Christine Hackett- 77
