Let’s Taco ‘bout 4-H: Youth to learn more about programs on Sept. 17, 19

It's the start of the year for 4-H! We welcome all youth in grades K-12 to learn more about 4-H!! Please join us for tacos and talk about 4-H!

Tuesday, Sept. 17, 6- 7 p.m. at the Tama County Extension and Outreach Office (203 West High Street, Toledo park in the back) or-Thursday, Sept. 19, 6-7 p.m. at the Traer Public Library

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills. 4-H is open to all youth. (Youth are not required to have animals to be in 4-H. Youth do not have to live in the country). Youth learn communication, citizenship, photography, foods, mechanics, woodworking and more!

Tama County has 4-H clubs located in Garwin, Gladbrook, Traer, Clutier and Toledo. Clover Kids is for youth in kindergarten thru 3rd grade. 4-H is for youth 4-12th grade. Each club has adult volunteer leaders.
