Flex Fitness corrections

April 12, 2019
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

The news story entitled "Flex Fitness ready to help guide all of your personal health goals" appearing in the April 5 issue of The Tama News-Herald contained errors.

The owner, Ashley Aynsworth, is a Health Educator for Meskwaki Health Clinic as well as the owner of Flex Fitness in downtown Tama. At Meskwaki she works with patients with diabetes, cancer awareness, teaches yoga, and manages / plans activities and events for the community.

Her aunt, Jeanne, passed away from a surgery done incorrectly on her heart. That is why Ashley's Flex Fitness logo includes the heartbeat in it.

Ashely says she is appreciative of the City of Tama's support in her effort to open Flex Fitness. The Tama City Council approved her business to benefit from incentives in the Downtown Revitalization Program.
