STC Archery Club competes at State

Sixty-two archers from the STC Archery Club competed at the State Archery Tournament on March 8 and 9 in Des Moines.

The Tournament was held at the Jacobson Center on the Iowa State Fair Grounds.

Some top results from the STC Archery Club included Timm Chandonia, an STC 5th grader who finished 5th place in 3D shooting. Also Emma Slifer, an STC 4th grader, finished 5th in 3D shooting.

STC High School student, Jessica Nachazel, shot a perfect 50 during one of her 6 ends in bullseye shooting.

The STC Elementary team placed 10th and could possibly go to Nationals in May. The NASP Tournament is held in Lexington, KY.
