Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Letters to the Editor:

Thank You Marshalltown Area! You kept them rolling!

(On behalf of the UnityPoint Health - Marshalltown Foundation Board I would like to thank all the area residents who jumped in with financial donations to the Lights & Sirens: Keep them Rolling! fundraising campaign supporting the purchase of not one but two new ambulances for the UnityPoint Health - Marshalltown Hospital. What an amazing response! The campaign kicked off in its initial phase last August, and in five and a half months $400,000 was raised through your generous donations. Kudos to everyone! Many of us have had our lives touched personally with services from the hospital'sambulance department. Be it response for our family members, friends or watching our EMS crews on the road, we know we are blessed with skilled and compassionate professionals serving our area multiple times each day.

Thank you all for keeping local services the best they can be. Together we make our piece of central Iowa a place to be proud to call our home, a place where people care about people, a great place to live!
