Search continues for woman on Meskwaki Settlement

March 25, 2015
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

A cadaver dog was brought in last week in the continued search for the whereabouts of Rita Papakee, 41, on the Meskwaki Settlement west of Tama. In a social media post, Travis "Trap" Davenport" reported "Another search coming up empty. We spent the day checking waterways. This dog would know if a human was in the river/pond/lakes.

"We will still be searching small areas not giving up people."

A press release from Meskwaki Police issued Feb. 18, says she was last seen on Friday Jan. 16, 2015, at approximately 1 p.m. at the Meskwaki Casino.
