Ground broken, work underway on Toledo's new $3 million water treatment plant

Toledo Mayor Dave Svoboda (center) was joined by city employees for the ceremonial groundbreaking for Toledo's new $3 million water treatment plant. On hand Thursday evening, Aug. 28, were (l-r) Mark Dvorak, Brent Dammann, Mark Zmolek, Svoboda, Ann Blazek, Bill Davis and Garrett Schissel. The facility to be built just west of the existing plant on West Carleton Street is expected to be completed in about one year. Kleiman Construction is the general contractor for the work which is underway on site.
