Before Judge Mitchell E. Turner in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Letisia Bonilla Perez, 22, rural Tama, entered written guilty pleas to two charges of child endangerment - substantial risk and a pair of charges for failure to appear in court. For child endangerment she received a two-year, suspended sentence on each charge. She was also fined $625 on each count and placed on probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. For failure to appear in court she was sentenced to 365 days in jail on each count with credit for time served and the balance suspended. She was fined $315 on each charge and placed on probation for one year.

Perez was originally charged with child endangerment on Aug. 23, 2012, by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bruce Rhoads. She was charged in County Attorney's information's for failure to appear in court on two dates.

Gerald Robert Sanache, 46, rural Tama was sentenced to a suspended 15 years prison sentence with 30 days to be served in the Tama County Jail, fined $3,125 and his driver's license was revoked for six years. He earlier pleaded guilty on May 15 to 3rd offense drunken driving as a habitual offender. Sanache was directed to pay sheriff's jail fees.

He was placed on probation for five years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Sanache was charged on April 29, 2013, in the 1500 block of Road E49 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.

Eric Michael Marks, 29, Norway, Iowa, entered a written guilty plea to 2nd offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to two years in prison and directed to enroll at the Lary Nelson Center in the OWI J Program. He was fined $1,875 and placed on probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Torin Lee Ward, 26, rural Tama entered written guilty pleas to charges of assault causing bodily injury and 2nd offense domestic abuse assault causing injury. On the assault charge he was sentenced to a suspended one-year jail term and fined $315. For domestic abuse he was sentenced to a suspended, two-year prison term and fined $625. He was placed on supervised probation to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services and directed to pay the supervisory enrollment fee.

Ward was charged on April 29 for domestic assault for pushing the victim to the ground and for assault for striking the victim in the stomach. The charges were filed by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Jacob Molitor.

Nathan Paul Macho, 20, Cedar rapids, pleaded guilty to manufacturing, delivery or possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Judgment was deferred for three years and he was placed on supervised probation to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. Macho was assessed a $750 civil penalty which was suspended.

He was charged on May 20 when a large plastic bag containing 26 grams of marijuana was found in a box in his possession in Montour. The charge was filed by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Rogers.
