What's Happening at the Wieting?

July 31, 2014
By RLou Snyder , Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

Have you ever watched and wondered about the journey of an unhatched egg? Watching the progress it goes through using its beak to break the shell so it can be free to grow.

This past week I watched 60 youngsters use their beaks to break loose and develop into performers. They came on Monday all eager to learn. They were prodded, encouraged to go that extra mile, work together with all the other performers. As each day started they learned more and more. By Friday for dress rehearsal they were singing, dancing, reciting their lines and loving the part!

On Saturday they showed their friends and relatives what they had learned.

Everyone worked together and got accomplished what was needed.

These birds were encouraged to try their wings and they did fly on their own.

Great job everyone. "See ya at the Wieting" _ _ _.
