Toledo Council changes to new meeting time

Toledo City Council regularly scheduled meetings will begin one hour earlier effective July 28.

The long-standing 7 p.m. starting time was switched to 6 p.m. on a council voice vote during their July 14 meeting.

The council meets on the lower level of the Toledo Community Building, 103 S. Church St.

Regular council meetings are on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

On July 28, the council meeting place will be at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center, 1107 S. Prospect Drive at the new, 6 p.m., time.

This meeting only is being held at the Civic Center to allow council members to first-hand see some improvements needs sought for the building.
