Before Judge Fae Hoover-Grinde in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Gerald Sanford Price, 53, Toledo, was sentenced to a suspended, two-year prison sentence and fined $625. He earlier had entered a written guilty plea to domestic abuse assault by strangulation. Price was placed on probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District department of Correctional Services and ordered to pay the enrollment fee.

He was originally charged on Sept. 19, 2012, for 2nd offense domestic abuse assault for allegedly twisting the arm of the victim and injuring her neck and throat. The charge was filed by Toledo Police Officer Dan Quigley.

AnthonyJames Reitinger, 22, rural Chelsea, entered an Alford plea to a charge of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. An Alford plea is not an admission of guilt but recognizes enough evidence could be presented to obtain a conviction in court.

Reitinger was sentenced to a two-year suspended prison term, fined $625 and assessed a $250 civil penalty. He was placed on probation for two years and directed to register as a sex offender.

He was originally charged by the Tama County Sheriff's Office and in a County Attorney's information.

Health Allen Friestad, 41, Traer, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. Hew was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete drinking drivers school. He may complete community service in lieu of paying the fine.

Friestad was charged on Feb. 23 at the Buckingham Cemetery by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.

Michelle Renee Hoag, 34, rural Tama, pled guilty to 2nd offense drunken driving. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail with all but seven days suspended and was fined $1,875. Hoag may complete community service in lieu of paying the fine amount. She was placed on self-supervised probation and directed to pay a $300 probation enrollment fee.

Hoag was charged on April 20 in the 2200 block of e Avenue by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.

Brett Steum, 42, Tama , was sentenced to 30 days in jail and fined $625 on a charge of driving while barred. He pled guilty on May 15. The jail sentence is to be served concurrently with tow other driving while barred convictions. Steum was also directed to complete 20 hours of community service.

He was charged on Feb. 15 at Church and Ohio streets by Toledo Police Officer Dereck

Leandra Larae Haughey, 30, Marshalltown, pled guilty to possession of marijuana - 3rd offense. She was sentenced to a suspended, five-year prison term concurrent with earlier sentences in Tama County for 2nd degree theft and violation of probation and possession of a controlled substance in Marshall County. A $750 fine was suspended and she was place on probation for three years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services. She was directed to pay a $300 probation supervision enrollment fee.

Haughey was charged on April 14 by Tama County deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.

William Stuart Wayne Wolgamott, 31, Melbourne, pled guilty to a charge of possession of prescription drugs. He was fined $315 and sentenced to a suspended, 30-day jail term. He may complete community service in lieu of paying the fine and was placed on unsupervised probation.

Wolgamott was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Todd Ruskowski on Feb. 27, 2013.
