2:50 p.m.- Monday, June 30: The Tama County Sheriff's Office and Traer Fire Department has reported to the Dispatch Center in Toledo storm damage has occurred in Traer. Clearline Cutlery, a manufacturing plant on Traer's south side has significant damage Tama County Chief Deputy Chad Hanson reported. At 3 p.m. the Traer Fire Department reported roofs were off of at least 10 homes and there was significant damage to buildings there. A number of utility lines and some trees were reported down.
Some rural roads are under water. Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police are reporting on police frequency water over the road and in the Powwow Grounds.
