MAT Tumbling competes in AAU Championships

June 20, 2014
Toledo Chronicle, Tama News-Herald

MAT Tumbling/Trampoline Team traveled to Waterloo, Iowa to compete at the Iowa State AAU Tumbling and Trampoline Championships. THE GREEN TEAM put in an amazing performance with nearly all team athletes taking home a gold first place medal in at least one event. Although the AAU is a smaller organization for tumbling and trampoline it is still a great opportunity for our athletes to compete and prepare for the USTA Nationals in June.

MAT Trampoline coach Jess Bookhout said "This was a good tune up meet to get our athletes to prepare for upcoming larger events."

Head coach Ron Brooks added "This was also a fun meet for our team and a chance for them to mix it up a little and enjoy seeing their hard work payoff."
