Join Berleen Wobeter at the Fay Tree and learn to make very classy friendship bracelets. You will use embroidery thread and knots creating a macrame appearance. Also, Berleen will send you home with more materials to make even more bracelets. Your friends will be delighted with their bracelets.

Bring $20 at the time of the class for materials.

The class will meet at the Fay Tree, 123 E. High, Toledo, on Tuesday and Thursday, June 17 and 19 at 10 a.m.. Tuition for the class is $10.

Stepping Stones

This is the time of year that our gardens provide us with projects. It's a time to be outdoors and play in the dirt. If you like to improve your landscaping each year, then add mosaic stepping stones.

You will use old dishes and other materials that had been destined for the landfill.

Mold your stone, cure it, and get care tips that will allow it to last for years. Please register one week in advance and bring $25 at the time of the class payable to the instructor. Tuition for this class is $10. The class will meet at the Shoestring Garden, 205 W. Highway 30. (This is the old Highway 30). It will meet on Sunday, June 15, at 4 p.m.

Register for these classes by calling 800-284-4823.
