You now have a variety of luncheon choices and can still enjoy browsing through "the treasures."
Owner Tammy Jo Tomlinson has added a buffet, lunch specials, a sandwich menu and a salad bar to her business on the corner of State (U.S. Highway 63) and 5th Street in Tama. TJ's Treasures and Lunch Buffet is open Tuesday-Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for dine in, carry-out or delivery.
The antiques and collectibles portion is open from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

TJ's now features comfortable table seating for 36 diners, a new hot food buffet area, pie case and the salad bar. A modern kitchen was built.
You can enjoy freshly baked desserts and Tomlinson can provide bakery items to order. There's also a specialty food offered every other week such as a taco bar.
Tammy Jo is assisted by Rose Meppelink in preparing and serving the lunches.

TJ's Treasures continues to accept select consignments for in-store sales and sells some items on the internet.
Darrell Blocker, Tama, has recently added a large assortment of collectibles to TJ's inventory, Tomlinson said.
