UPDATE: Students from South Tama, and three other Tama County high schools attended the 60th annual American Legion Government Day in Toledo on Wednesday, March 9.
The Iowa Supreme Court held a night session for oral arguments ta the Wieting Theatre on Wednesday night. The Justices will visit area high schools to meet with students today, Thursday, April 10.

PREVIOUS: The 60th annual Tama County Government Day is today, Wednesday, April 9, in Toledo.
High school students from the six schools in the county are scheduled to attend. Among events are tours of county offices, the Historical Society Museum and sessions with county officials.
Iowa?Supreme Court Justice Brent will meet with students at 1:15 p.m. at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center.
County government Day is sponsored by Tama County American Legion Posts and?Auxiliaries. Once a nation-wide event, Tama county is believed to be the last county to still carry on the tradition.
In an historic event, the Iowa Supreme Court will hear arguments in two cases tonight, Wednesday, April 9, at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St., Toledo, beginning at 7 p.m.
A reception of the Justices follows at 8:30 p.m. at the adjacent Toledo Community?Building. The public is invited to attend both events. There is no charge.
