Ethel Filloon, 91, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, At Living Faith Methodist Church in Tama, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Living Faith Methodist Church on Friday, March 7, 2014. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date. Ethel Bernice Addy was born on December 4, 1922 in Toledo, Iowa; she was the daughter of Franklin and Alberta (Stewart) Addy. Ethel attended school in the Toledo High School graduating with the class of 1940. Ethel went on to attend Gerald's School of Beauty in Marshalltown, Iowa. On November 29, 1941, Ethel was united in marriage to Warren Filloon in Clinton, Iowa and had resided in Toledo in the house Ethel was born in. She worked as a telephone operator, owner of Modern Beauty Shop in Toledo, and a cook at the Marshalltown Hospital and also worked as a Home Health aide until her retirement. She was a charter member at the Eagles in Tama, Iowa, member of the American Legion, and the Rebekah Lodge. She and Warren loved to dance, she enjoyed bowling and shopping and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish Ethel are her children: Larry (Donna) Filloon of Phoenix, Arizona, Margaret (Phillip) Williams of Toledo, Phillip (Connie) Filloon of Tama and Becky (Gary) Wehrman of Marshalltown, grandchildren: Terry Filloon, Larrae Wortham, Teresa Williams, Melissa(Paul) Broekemeier, Toby Williams, Christine Howe, Melinda(Tim) Martens, Jeff (Piene) Filloon, Nicole Filloon, Dustin Filloon, Jason(Tina) Wehrman and Crystal(Jeremy) Cremeans, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great- great-grandchildren.

In death Ethel rejoins her parents, Franklin and Alberta, husband Warren, and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
