Tama County District Court

Before Judge Marsha M. Beckelman in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Harley James Green, 19, rural Toledo, pled guilty to charges of intent to deliver marijuana and maintaining a drug house. He received deferred judgments on both charges and was assessed a $650 civil penalty on the charge of maintaining a drug house. A $750 civil penalty on the marijuana charge was suspended. Green was placed on probation to the Department of Correctional Services.

Green was charged on Oct. 14, 2013, at Pheasant Ridge, rural Toledo, after it was discovered he was drying marijuana in the rafters of a storage building and had reportedly told other residents he intended to sell marijuana. Pheasant Ridge is the former Tama County Care Facility. The charges were field by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.
