STC January PBIS students of the month

South Tama High School would like to present four students that have demonstrated being respectful, responsible, ready, and successful. Caitlin Svacina, Samantha Betz, Hunter Filloon, and Haley Shope are the PBIS Students of the Months for January.

Senior Caitlin Svacina is the daughter of Paul and Sandra Svacina. She is involved in Band, Large Group & Individual Speech. Her future plans are to attend Iowa State and major in design with a minor in business.

Junior Samantha Betz is the daughter of Nicole and Warren Betz. She is involved in basketball, Blue Crew, and advisory committee. Her advice to other high school students is to focus on your schoolwork, help other students, and be kind.

Sophomore Haley Shope is the daughter of Tod and Stacey Zeman and Mike Shope. She is involved in volleyball, softball, wrestling manager, FFA, ALL4ONE, Individual Speech, marching band, concert band, pep band, and jazz band. She plans on attending Iowa State University.

Freshman Hunter Filloon is the son of Jeff and Piene Filloon. He is involved in wrestling and plans to go to a 4 year university after high school. His advice to his peers is to have a positive attitude toward everything you do.
