BeforeMagistrate Richard Vander Mey:

Annette O'Fallen, 41, Marshalltown, was found guilty of 5th degree theft for a bad check written to Hometown Foods, Gladbrook following bench trial. She was fined and assessed court costs totaling $402 and directed to pay $209 restitution to Hometown Foods. The charge was filed by the Tama County Sheriff's Office.

John Robert Werner, 65, Tama, was found guilty of failure to yield right of way at a stop sign following bench trial. He was fined and assessed court costs totaling $195. Toledo Police filed the charge.
