Cub Scouts invite new members

The new year is upon us and a great way to engage your son or grandson in a worth-while organization is through the Cub Scouts of America. CSA Pack 391 covers the Tama/Toledo area and meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7 p.m. at the Partnership Center in Tama. First through fifth grade boys are encouraged to attend the next Pack meeting and join the Pack.

Pack activities include a February lock-in at the Marshalltown YMCA, pine wood derby car races, making bird houses at Grimes Farm, camping, and other indoor and outdoor activities. The Cub Scout will receive awards, recognition, and merit badges for the activities he participates in.

Parents interested in having their son join the Cub Scouts should call Pack 391 Cub Master Richard Jimenez or myself. Jimenez can be reached at 641-481-1308. I can be reached at 641-751-0931.
